Training class designed to provide Program Managers with the skills needed to track and manage their programmatic data
within the Comprehensive Cost and Requirement (CCaR) System. Training class will include the CCaR roles and
responsibilities of a program manager, the creation and management of program requirements, the creation of the
program tool and the utilization of reports and tools in managing their program. Hands-on exercises will be conducted
throughout the training session to reinforce skills.
Prerequisite
Participants will need to complete the CCaR Essentials course or possess the following knowledge and skills:
- Know the purpose of the CCaR system
- Know how to log into the CCaR System and Change Password
- Know responsibilities within the CCaR system
- Identify the three main modules and the primary function of each
- Recognize the different navigation features and know how to use each of them
- Know how to locate the help file and demonstrate ability to navigate through the contents, index and search sections
- Know the purpose of a CCaR Requirement
- Identify the different budget types used within the CCaR System
- Know the available forecast types and the purpose of each
- Know how to navigate to the CCaR Execution window to display Commitment, Obligation and Expenditure information
- Differentiate between the different types of reports
