IDS Delivers CCaR v10.5.1.1 with Exciting New Features!

El Segundo, CA:  March 26, 2009 – IDS has released version 10.5.1.1 of CCaR (Comprehensive Cost and Requirement System), the leading requirement management software package for government organizations.  This new version of CCaR offers greater flexibility and efficiency for financial managers, yet maintains the award-winning core abilities of CCaR.
CCaR offers government organizations the ability to manage all levels of an organization’s financial requirements across multiple fiscal years and project stages.  CCaR’s advanced features allow users to manage budgets, commitments, obligations, expenditures, funding documents, programs, contracts, manpower, and reconciliation functions all from a single program.  CCaR offers a broad array of reports and charts to meet nearly any reporting need and a number of available interfaces allow CCaR to share financial data with a wide variety of government systems.  CCaR includes an advanced permissions system to ensure fiscal data is seen only by authorized individuals.
Notable CCaR users include the United States Air Force, Navy, Army, and the Defense Threat Reduction Agency (DTRA).  In July of 2005, CCaR was certified as the preferred financial management tool for the United States Air Force.

New and enhanced features include:

• The new Life Cycle Chart provides progressive financial data and charts across multiple Fiscal Years of a program.
• The Reimbursable Tool now allows users to track requirements at the Customer Document level
• The MIPR Checklist is now directly available on a DD Form 448.
  
• Three new funding documents for CCaR execution have been added.
  
• CCaR can now publish data to the GCSS Enterprise Service Bus.
• The Reconciliation Issues Journal has been thoroughly revised for greater efficiency and ease.  Users can now create a Reconciliation Issue directly from a commitment document.
• The Forecasting Tool / Plan Event window has been modified to allow the transfer of plan events from one customer document to another.
  
• The Flex Report and Stoplight Report are now available for use in the Staff/Multi Org Report menu.
  

Many other features of CCaR were updated and added for specific customers.
