IDS is very proud of our Air Force heritage. The Air Force has embraced CCaR over the last decade and propelled the tool throughout its financial and program management community. Over the last three years, CCaR use has expanded outside of the Air Force, into the Army, Joint Services, and other Department of Defense agencies. This expansion has contributed to the increased flexibility of the tool and how it may add value to any government organization. We have also seen an increase in command level interest because of the ability to drill down to lower level requirements. Commands have visibility into the working level which assists during both Congressional and Staff inquiries.
