supporting a variety of financial software packages. Nearly 75% of the IDS team
has three or more years experience in Government financial management and 25%
have over ten years of Government financial management experience. In particular,
IDS has gained a comprehensive understanding of all major areas of Air Force
program and financial management. This includes appropriated funding, Foreign
Military Sales (FMS) and the Working Capital Fund (WCF).
Our highly proficient staff works in concert with our powerful enterprise software
applications and our customers to provide support when and where it is needed.
In addition, we are often able to offer valuable process based suggestions
that will help an organization realize maximum benefit from our software tools
and its defined ways of doing business.
Reconciliation

IDS has a simple and concentrated approach for providing Contract Reconciliation
Support. Along with our contract partner, Tecolote Research, IDS quickly
achieves the reconciliation goals and requirements of our customers via:
1. Conformed Contract Generation
The first step to successful contract reconciliation is to develop an accurate
and complete conformed copy of the contract. We will
utilize the Comprehensive Cost and Requirement (CcaR) System Contracts Module
software to develop a
baseline contract. The CcaR Contracts Modules provide easy viewing of the
following Contract information.
2. Real time access to customer
To ensure the customer is always aware and informed on the progress of the
reconciliation efforts, we will make the Contracts Module information available
to all users identified by the customer. Since the customer will be viewing
the actual database used to manage reconciliation, they will always have to
the second accuracy and insight.
3. Allocation back to Customer budget
(maintenance of contract obligations/expenditures)
For customers utilizing CcaR to generate official commitment documents, a residual
benefit to using the Contracts Module is the automated posting of contract
based obligations and expenditures. The simple maintenance of contract information
will automatically place obligations and expenditures against the correct budget
line. This information is made available to financial managers instantly with
references back to the contract module detail.
4. Identify contract discrepancies
5. Produce corrective actions
6. Follow-up
Help Desk
IDS
has extensive experience providing a full-service support
environment for customers of our software
products. Our support services framework includes on-line
support, regional help desks, near/on-site field support
engineers, maintenance engineering personnel, and supporting
infrastructure. This framework provides the ability to rapidly
respond and effectively track customer issues. Support is
provided via a multi-tiered system that allows for rapid
escalation to source matter experts (domain or technical)
regardless of their geographic location. All calls are routed
into a centralized help desk system, with management procedures
in place to ensure rapid closeout of issues. When required,
maintenance releases (patches) are rolled out to fix critical
software issues and are made available to all potentially
impacted sites. To provide local software deployment or on-site
support, regionally based experts are available to assist
our customers. Our support staffs are consistently updated
on our products (new features, FAQs, lessons learned) to
ensure consistent and high-quality customer service. Rigorous
processes and state-of-the-are tools are in place to gather
product requirements, provide configuration control over
source code, and ensure quality control of our products.
