Government Reimbursable Program

Description:
The world of government reimbursable accounting may be complicated, but it doesn't have to be difficult. IDS has developed a reimbursable application that makes the job of maintaining reimbursable accounts significantly easier. The application is able to automatically load weekly billing vouchers and all voucher detail directly into the database for any number of Job Order Numbers (JONs). It tracks customer funding for these JONs from any number of government or non-government agencies, and will automatically generate a billing instruction for the Defense Finance and Accounting Service (DFAS) at the click of a button. The instruction comes complete with document billing summaries and complete SF Form 1080 for processing the reimbursement. The application is currently being used at the Space and Missile Systems Center (SMC) for management of their multi-million dollar Federally Funded Research and Development Center (FFRDC), the Aerospace Corporation. The application is a real time saver, and greatly simplifies what can become a very arduous task. The system also has a web interface to allow customers to view the status of their JONs via the web.

Technical Specifications:
Database Server running Oracle RDBMS Version 8.0 or higher. Application software requires 30 MB of hard disk space, SQL*Net Client Software and Windows95/98/NT/2000/XP.
